Yankees win 10-7, come back from down 4 and Gerrit Cole Struggles.

The Yankees improved the Record to 41-16 after taking the series vs the Twins. Gerrit Cole struggled pitching 2.1 innings, gave up 5 homers, including a back to back to back to leadoff the game. HE gave up 7 runs on 8 hits, putting his ERA at 3.63. his 5 homer given up was a career high.

Offense picked up Cole scoring one run in the 1st with a Donaldson Sac fly. Then Gallo ties the game in the 2nd with a 2 run homer. Then in the 5th, he would tie up the game with his 2nd homer in the game with another 2 run homer. Lemahieu would go back to back with Gallo and make it a 2 run game. Hicks would tie the game up in the 6th with a two run homer. In the 7th, Rizzo and hick would both have rbi singles to make it a 2 run lead, an inning later would score on a wild pitch. Making it 10-7.

Bullpen came through after Cole struggles, pitching a scoreless 7.2 inning. Showing that the bullpen can help this Yankees team and can pick up their teammates after their struggles. Helped the offense get back in the game, and win the game. Including a save by Clay Holmes making his streak to 25 straight scoreless innings.

Hicks and Gallo getting homers is huge for the Yankees to get them going for the season and make their lineup even better. With IKF, hes been good defensively and helped the team but needs to get going offensively and would help the bottom of the lineup.
